Hi there.

LAUREN P. ADAMS is the Product Design Manager of Facebook Connectivity, an initiative focused on making the internet fast, affordable, and accessible in emerging markets. Her team creates solutions like Free Basics, internet access without data charges; Express Wi-Fi, affordable wi-fi in rural areas; and Analytics, network and business insights for partners. She also founded the largest club for employees, Philanthropy@Facebook, to foster a culture of volunteering, donations, and community engagement. Previously, Lauren worked as a Product Designer at the global petition platform, Change.org, and as an Adjunct Professor in the Social Design and Graphic Design departments at the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA). Originally from Iowa, Lauren learned to appreciate design through the gridded pattern of cornfields.
